Description
Each Olde School bespoke waistcoat is individually cut from a personal pattern developed from your measurements, posture, fit preferences, and design selections, then finished with the same hand-sewn attention to detail as our other tailored garments.
After you submit your measurements, we create a toile, a preliminary version of your waistcoat, and send the toile to you to work with you to evaluate its fit, proportions, and feel. Any necessary adjustments are then incorporated into your personal pattern before your finished waistcoat is cut and constructed.
The custom nature of the creation of your waistcoat to size and with your selections results in approximately 8-10 weeks for delivery after the toile has been approved.
Canvas
Half Canvas standard for Single-Breasted | Full Canvas standard for Double-Breasted, optional upgrade for Single-Breasted
Full Canvas
– Our full canvas blazer is the pinnacle of a hand tailoring. A wool and linen canvas is hand sewn in to the fronts of our jackets, avoiding the need for any fusing (gluing) of the suit. The canvas is sewn allowing the internals to float and the jacket to breathe. The canvas supports the chest creating better shape. A full canvas jacket offers greater longevity as it is sewn into the jacket, so will never come apart. It is the quality of jacket you would expect from the world’s finest tailors.
Half Canvas
– Our half canvas blazer offers a cost effective solution while retaining the quality you would expect from an Olde School Blazer Company jacket. Although the blazer fronts are fused, we retain a half canvas in the chest to create a great shape through the body of the jacket.
